About Resilience
RS working towards achieve the goal: to help cities worldwide build resilience to the growing social, economic, and physical challenges of the 21st century. By understanding how existing challenges are connected, and by planning not just for potential shocks-like fires, floods, and earthquakes-but also for everyday stresses-such as chronic water shortages, crime, violence, economic inequality, and inefficient public transportation-cities can make themselves better in both good times and bad, for all their citizens.
RS partner closely with cities to create a holistic resilience strategy, and most importantly, implement it. We provide funding solution, capacity building and technical assistance to help cities change the way they understand risk and plan for the future.
