Without RWH audit we cannot claim that these much of groundwater we have recharged and groundwater level increased. During the audit process SMC can get the data that these much of societies have BUC but not done RWH or if done then not maintained it.
What we are doing in the RWH Audit process:
- To list down the BUC residential, institutional and commercial societies
- To analyze the sanctioned plans of each society with respect to its catchment area and water recharging capacity, if the RWH system is installed.
- To prepare dynamic and interactive Website and Dashboard along with Mobile App for SMC and Citizenry
- To provide ward-wise, zone-wise Geo-Tagging and Unique numbering to each RWH system
- To review SMC’s RWH Policy and provide necessary amendments
- To prepare IEC material development for awareness, installation and maintenance for all citizens.
- To build capacity amongst stakeholders by organizing Seminars and Workshops
- To campaign on Social media
- To recommend channel partner having the capacity to install and regularly maintain individual RWH system
- To prepare Roadmap for future action
